Distance to Mount Everest

Living tracker from today’s codebase to a shippable operator product loop — not a claim that the product is finished.

Four summits on the path

Core hypervisor work is advanced. The residual distance is product surface, real R640 iron, and ISO/datastore — not “can it virtualize.”

  1. Ship EFI 85% Buildable; release kit + signing thin
  2. Real R640 boot 25% Scaffold done; iron BOOT-OK open
  3. Network vSphere-like UI 12% Demo SPA; no TCP/HTTP stack yet
  4. Deploy Linux ISO 8% bzImage/initrd only; ISO path unbuilt

Production bar (M6.8 soak + M6.9 external): 100% on Latitude — RAYNU-V-M6-EXT-OK. Hypervisor core ~78%.

Bottom line

M0→M7.4 software gates are closed on Latitude. M7.5 is scaffolded (runbook + evidence) and open on iron. Next hard gate: RAYNU-V-R640-BOOT-OK on a real PowerEdge R640.
